I felt like I was hit by a truck. Upon waking up in Valerius’s room, when the sun was high up in the sky, I was met with aching pain in my body. At first, I only groaned, unable to turn around or sit up. Now that I’m sitting straight on the bed, my feet dangling over the edge, I try to shut out the muscles that were screaming at me from numbness. The dull pain was irritating, for I could barely move around without having pain shooting through me. After I blacked out in that place, I don’t remember what happened. I don’t even know how I got out, but I assumed that it was thanks to her. With every spec of my body on fire, I couldn’t even think straight.
