C-5: Wedding Day!

This is it! The wait is over, it's Mari and Andrei's wedding day. The two people getting married that day were filled with joy. The ambiance around them was very peaceful, everyone was smiling. The bridesmaids marched first, followed by the godparents. The flower girls and bearers, guests and all the wedding entourage. And then, the final moment of the wedding, Mari walked slowly down the Aisle. Sweet music from a famous band followed. All eyes lay in Mari, the beautiful and stunning bride. While Andrei was looking at his bride with tears in his eyes. Their eyes met and their hearts beat as one at that moment. In a few moments, the two faced the altar in front of the priest. And then the ceremony began as for the vows of the bride and groom.

"I, Mariya Mercedes promise to love Andrei through thick and thin until death do us part." Mari happily spoke as she and Andrei faced each other.

Their exchange of "I do" was over and now it was their both vows.

"I, Troy Andrei Collado promise to love Mariya through thick and thin until death do us part." Andrei also spoke honestly.

Everyone clapped and cheered, showing that they were happy with what was happening.

"All rights, you may now kiss the bride!" The priest announced.

Andrei slowly lifted Mari's veil, the two of them stared at each other and both smiled. When Mari couldn't wait any longer for Andrei to kiss her, she pulled him closer and kissed the young man herself. Laughter and cheers erupted, Andrei's cheeks were red after that.

"I'm your Wife now Honey! And I can do it now whatever I want!" Mari said, winking at her husband and biting her lip.

Andrei swallowed and laughed, he just pinched the bridge of Mari's nose. After that, Mari also threw her wedding bouquet and unexpectedly, her best friend caught it. Of course, Jeyah was very happy while her boyfriend Harry made the sign of the cross. Everyone laughed even more as Jeyah teased Harry who was completely shy. And then, they went to the wedding venue so they could all eat what Mari and Andrei had prepared. There was some dancing after the meal, the newlyweds were very tired but they were still happy.

"Happy, Honey?" Andrei whispered to Mari.

They had just finished dancing as per the request of one of their Godparents. Yes, the style of Mari and Andrei's wedding was like a provincial wedding. They just mixed in the style of the city so that everyone could relate and have fun.

"Super, happy Honey!" Mari happily replied while kissing Andrei on the lips.

Andrei laughed.

"Hey, Honey, we're just going on a honeymoon, don't worry!" He said.

Mari laughed too and her eyes widened.

"I can't wait, Honey!" This was a sweet answer.

"You, naughty girl! Make sure you last on our honeymoon," Andrei teased Mari.

"I've been preparing for our fight for a long time, Honey!" Mari was furious.

"Hey, enough of the flirting between you two!" Jeyah interrupted.

Mari giggled while Andrei blushed a little embarrassed.

"Send your Godparents off, the others are going home." Jeyah said.

"Ah..okay! Thanks, Jeyah!" Andrei answered and gently helped Mari to stand up.

Then the newlyweds walked hand in hand towards their Godparents. While Jeyah watched in awe as the couple walked away.

"Heyyy, how jealous! When will I be presented at Harry's altar?!" She groaned.

Rose and Lira, who are also friends with Mari, laughed.

"Why don't you change it?" Rose asked with a smile.

"Which one?" Jeyah asked curiously.

"How about...you propose to Harry? Just to be different," Lira asked.

"Me?! Propose to Harry? I'm jealous of the way Andrei proposed to Mari and then you're going to tell me to change it? Girls, I don't want it! I want it to be like Mari and Andrei," Jeyah replied artfully.

Rose and Lira just shook their heads at Jeyah's reaction.

"As if men are all the same, Jeyah. Remember, we are all humans but we have different personalities and behavior." Rose said.

Jeyah's face turned red.

"That's enough of our topic, it hurts, you know that?" He said.

Rose and Lira laughed again and then they followed the newlyweds.

"Thank you all so much!" Mari and Andrei said in unison to their Godparents who were going home.

"Thank you both so much! May the family you have built be happy and full of love." One of Mari and Andrei's Godparents happily replied.

"You can count on it!" The newlyweds responded in unison.

Then they happily watched their Godparents' cars drive away. The newlyweds looked at each other and hugged each other.

"We are lucky to have our Godparents, I hope they are angels." Mari said as she hugged her husband's waist.

"It's up to us, Honey! We will fill our family with happy memories." Andrei replied with love.

Then they happily went back inside, it was getting dark but their occasion was still going on.

"We will open our gifts tomorrow?" Mari asked Andrei when they were sitting in the hall again.

"Maybe the other day, I want you for a few days!" Andrei replied with a wink.

Mari immediately bit her lip, she had been teasing Andrei for a while. Andrei always stopped her because they were not married yet.

"I like what you said, my husband!" Mari's eyes were still blinking.

Andrei laughed at that.

"What's so funny?" Mari asked hesitantly.

"Nothing! It's just that, you are really cute and it cannot be irresistible. That's why I'm deeply in love with you!" Andrei was serious.

Mari immediately hugged her husband's neck and kissed his cheek.

"I love you more, Andrei! You are my life and my breath, I hope you get me pregnant soon." Mari replied sweetly.

"I hope so, Honey! So that there will be noise in our house right away and so that you won't be bored while I'm at work." Andrei smiled.

"Let's go to the room? I want to rest!" Mari whispered to Andrei.

Andrei looked at Mari's face and they're both smiled strangely. It seemed that their minds and eyes understood what Mari wanted to convey to Andrei. So, they smiled again and Andrei kissed Mari's hair softly.

"Wait for me here, Honey! Let's just say goodbye to our other guests and companions. So that it's not obvious that we're in a hurry to go on our honeymoon." Andrei explained.

Mari's cheeks turned red but she giggled.

"Okay Honey, go!" Was all Mari could say.

Andrei nodded and left Mari for a moment to say goodbye to everyone. Mari followed Andrei's gaze as he walked away, swallowing hard. Finally, what Mari had been waiting for, that she and Andrei would become as one, would come true. She knew that there was still a lot to happen in her married life with Andrei but she would try to be the perfect Wife to Andrei. She will become the thoughtful and caring Wife to her husband no matter what happened.
