"Has he signed it yet?" Kate asked her lawyer, in reference to Chris signing the divorce papers. She was dressed up to go see Nero in his office. His personal assistant had informed her that Nero just resumed work. She was going to see for herself if her plan had actually worked.
"Mrs Milan, he wants to see you first, before he signs the papers." Her lawyer gave a response.
Kate rolled her eyes. "What does he want to see me for? Does he think anything he say will make me change my mind?" She sighed. "Alright, I will see him today, but keep the papers. My mind is made up already. I'm divorced Chris."
