"Yes, I'm new here. I just got accepted yesterday and I requested to start today on night shift." I answered trying to be calm as ever.
"Well, welcome to Pilgrims, hopefully your mental health stays same till you retire." She joked.

I was about getting inside when another one stopped me.
"You look like one of the patients I attended to yesterday. She stays in ward 29, her name is Molly if I'm not mistaken. Do you have a relative here?" She asked, drawing down her glasses to take a good look at my face.
"No, no. I don't at all. This is my first time working here and I am the only child to my late parents."
