I ran back to my room in tears. Aspen wasted no time in getting a tissue and coming for me.
"Jem, what happened? Stop crying please." She wiped my tears which kept on falling. "Is it Nero? Has he broken your heart already? I will take off his balls and give them to our neighbor's dogs. He must be an i***t to do this to you."
I started laughing. "Aspen, come on. It's not Nero. I haven't even seen his balls yet." I laughed again. "And it won't be fair to give Allison's cute puppies someone's balls to feed on. Aspen, I hope your jokes won't kill me one day."
