A day to my second trial, I had a conversation with Darius.
"I was thinking you won't show up again till tomorrow."
"I would have come earlier but I was busy compiling several evidences." Darius said.
"Can you tell me what you've got?"
"The video recording of your former secretary and your texts with Jemima."
I nodded. "Hmmm, do you think they are convincing enough for me to be out of here by tomorrow?"
"Yeah, don't worry about it. You will at home tomorrow." Darius said with confidence.
The way he spoke seemed like there was something he wasn't telling me but I let it slide. My main aim was to leave this place tomorrow.
My trial day came at last. I was given a new set of clothes to wear.
"God, I hope this is a sign." I said to myself as i was done buttoning my shirt.
