Maeve had told the housekeepers to keep an eye on Ginny and not let her out of the room. She also went ahead to tell the security men not to let Ginny out of the house, in case she gets out of the room.
As for Ginny, she hasn't been herself after her conversation with Maeve. How did she let herself get fooled all this while for no reason. Only if she could turn back the hands of the clock and fix her foolish mistakes. Being locked up in a house made her remember how her mental hospital experience was.
