"Guess who the new boss is?" I shouted as I burst into the living room with my arms wide open.
"You of course. That's very obvious, with what you told me last night." Aspen paused the film she watched with Ginny and turned to look at me.
"Oh my God! Congratulations Jem." Ginny rushed up to me for a hug.
"Thank you." I smiled at her.
"Is Nero going to coming back to Thornes?" Aspen asked, quietly chewing her popcorn.
Ginny had to throw her one of the cushion pillows, which clearly meant she should not bring up Nero's name in my presence.
"It's fine, Ginny. I don't get pained anymore hearing his name." I looked at Aspen. "No, he isn't. He is starting his own company now, according to what Mr McLaughlin told me. I have no idea what he is going into."
