A couple of months have passed and my father has been out of the hospital. He has been recovering quite well since he was discharged a few days ago. He became more talkative and hasn't had a single breakdown in those months that have passed. Everybody was honestly happier now that he's actually staying with us and seemed healthy. Jace was particularly the happiest of everybody, and since my dad came back, he hasn't been doing anything to interrupt our sessions, and we are now actually able to finish without worrying that Jace would come bursting through the door at any second.
Compared to when my dad was at the hospital, the house was actually livelier than it used to be. We have a lot of new people, and they have made the house less dead.
