Zara's POV
I was about to leave for the sanatorium but I saw Stacy coming to me.
Why was she coming here at such an odd hour? I tried to look as normal as possible. Stacy shouldn't be getting a hunch of me going out this late at night!
“Madam, are you going out?” She asked, her eyes squinted.
What? Her words made my body stiff, especially those small eyes that eyed me with suspicion. Don't tell me just like her master, she had a mysterious, keen ability to read my mind!
I cleared my throat and said, my voice loud, “What do you mean? Didn't I tell you I came here to get some fresh air?”
Stacy fluttered her eyelashes dramatically, her eyebrows raised.
She said calmly, “Okay, okay. I know you told this to me but from the direction you were taking, I thought you were heading out.”
