Zara's POV
I took cautious, light steps to Xander’s childhood bedroom, my head toppling in all the directions to ensure nobody was watching me in just this small towel. My hands were tightly pressing the towel against my body to prevent it from falling off or showing off even the tiniest part of my body.
“We are almost there,” I said wisply, as the door got closer.
But that was when I could hear some footfalls coming from my far left.
It was the butler climbing the staircase.
I immediately turned around and snuck myself back inside the room, closing the door hastily yet softly before resting my body against it.
“f**k! That was a close one,” I sighed.
After failing to get into my room to grab my clothes, I didn't have the guts to try again.
