Zara’s POV
After a heated argument with Xander that I wasn't expecting to come up, especially after how he had been nice to me lately, pissed me off completely.
After leaving the restaurant, I took the cab to the Lennon Hospital to check on my mother. I was feeling too low, and meeting my mother would help me kick this livid state out.
I met the doctor who operated on my mother in his cabin, and asked him seriously, “How is my mother, doctor?”
The doctor raised his head from the files and took off his reading glasses and said calmly, “She is doing good as of now…”
Wow! That was great news, and I already had my lips curling into a smile until I got to hear the doctor’s next set of words.
