“Huh-” I got breathless and spat out the glass of water when Xander said the most unexpected thing in the world.
Everyone on the table was shell-shocked except for my husband, Xander.
I coughed incessantly and tried to regain my composure but my throat muscles tightened with uneasiness when Andrew questioned, “Zara, are you married?”
I couldn't face Andrew who was seated next to me. Just a few moments back, I introduced him as my boyfriend in front of Xander and Tania and now Xander came up with this revelation.
All I could do was pass a sharp-eyed glance at Xander.
