Zara's POV
The cab dropped me by one of the prestigious hospitals in the world, Lennon Hospital. This was the place where my mother had been getting her treatment. Tonight I was here not just to check my mother but also to alleviate the rising pain in my heart.
I got inside the hospital, took an elevator and arrived on the floor where my mother's room was located. On my way to her room, I saw a doctor coming out of the room prior to the one where my mother was located.
“Doctor Buck,” I called out to the doctor who turned around.
He said, “Oh, Zara.”
I passed a faint smile to him before walking quickly to him.
“Doctor, how is my mother? Is she doing fine?” I asked, concerned.
Doctor Buck sighed, “She is doing okay.”
I asked eagerly, “Is there any improvement in her health?”
