His last words were still fresh as daisy for me. They kept on swirling in my head, and I thought hard what would Xander do to me tonight? Though I was relieved to know that there was still a bright chance to save my career, I was worried about going back to Xander's room after the last encounter that happened in the bedroom where Xander once stayed as a child.
Once the cab pulled over at the entrance of the mansion, I got down and walked up the stairs. My feet were very slow and numb and so was my mind. Last night was a hectic one, and I needed some solace; in the form of a good sleep.
