"Welcome, Saintess Esme. High Priest Launce and High Priest Eddard are waiting for you," Said the priest, bowing his head deeply.
"Yes, please take me to them," I smiled, standing from my seat in the drawing room.
We had arrived last night, and Axel was immediately brought to the palace after we were dropped off at the Temple. Adom and I had waited this morning, out of our commoner's disguise, and back into the clothes proper for our position, to meet High Priest Jeremiah.
"Follow me, please," The man said, leading us out into the hall, and down the corridor. We stopped at Launce's office, and with a knock on the door, a "Come in" followed.
"Saintess," Eddard cheered, his childish charm bubbling up.
"Hello High Priest Eddard, High Priest Launce," I curtsied, smiling at the two men
