Shaylene's pov
The doctor left me and Josh all alone after showing us our baby. Josh is currently sitting next to me holding my hand and bit too tight almost as if he's afraid I might disappear any moment.
"Babe " I called him but he didn't hear so I lift his chin up with my free hand.
"Babe, I'm not going anywhere. I'm fine now." I say referring to my hand he's squeezing too tight.
"Sorry , I didn't mean to hurt you."He let's go of my hand but I grab it and he gives me a questioning look.
"I didn't say I didn't like it. You were just holding me too tight. " I say and he smiles and places a kiss on my hand.
"So, are you happy? "I ask referring to the fact that we'll be parents soon.
"I am beyond happy Shay. I've been waiting for you too wake up for three weeks. I missed you so much.
