In The Lycan Village

Full moon and it was the time for them to travel back in time, and they have changed into clothes suitable for the time. The girls’ clothes were old servant clothes while the boys’ clothes were leather pants with a white cheesecloth shirt with leather armors. They all have their enchanted satchels that contain a lot of their stuff.

Lady Amara and their parents gave them last-minute instructions before they finally entered the entrance to the vortex that opened, thanks to the amulet Lady Amara lends them. While inside the vortex, it spins them around in a very fast manner, and all they see is pure darkness. As the spinning continued small lights began to appear and fly around them.

The spinning stopped and they all fell on the cold and dirty ground. They all groaned, but Shanaia and Seb quickly stood and ran to the nearest bush and began heaving. The two of them puked their guts out while the others are looking around.

After they got passed the nausea, they parted ways as the girls made their way towards the vampire castle, while the boys made their way towards the lycan village. The boys may have a slight problem entering the village as the guards are very strict and the way the guards talked to them didn’t sit well with their lycans. It’s utterly disrespectful and if Zander and Crane didn’t pull Fiero back, he would’ve attacked the guards.

Good thing a woman stepped in and let them in, as they played their part as the participating warriors for the training. The woman brought them to the clay house they are going to use for the duration of the training.

After they were given a short orientation, the boys introduced themselves. The woman just smiled at them and made her way out of the house. But before she leaves, she turned back to them.

“I’ll see you tomorrow on the training grounds. I am actually looking forward to seeing you fight.”She told them and was about to close the door when she smiled at them again.

“And my name is Alessa.” She said and closed the door.

Once she was done, the boys began looking around the house. It was small and shabby compared to their house back in their time. And while they are all busy exploring their tiny house, Zander just sat on the edge of the bed, staring blankly into space.

The boys noticed him and Crane sat beside him, patting Zander’s shoulder.

“What’s wrong?”Crane asked, and Zander sighed.

“That female Lycan earlier...”Zander trailed.

“What about her?”Seb asked.

“Oh my god, don’t tell me you like her?”Fiero joked, smirking and Zander scowled.

And then he looked at his cousins with a disgusted face as they all looked at him, wiggling their eyebrows.

“What the hell, no!”Zander exclaimed.

“So what about her?”

“The name Alessa, she’s my mom’s lycan,” Zander told them, and everyone else gaped at him.

If they thought that Alessa was the only thing that surprises them, they were wrong. The next day, they found out that they have a private toilet and bath, instead, they use the common toilet and bath that all lycans use in the training camp. And to Seb’s dismay, the toilet is indeed just a hole in the ground.

They got ready for the day and joined the other trainees in the breakfast tent to eat. After breakfast, they went to the training grounds where the orientation will be held. They met another warrior named Decimus and he explained some things to them including the group of lycans that looked like the popular bullies in high school.

And when the orientation began, the high-ranking lycans were introduced. Through Decimus, they found out that Alessa was the Alpha King’s younger sister. And then the senior pack enforcers divided the recruits, and Zander was grouped with his cousins and Decimus.

Then a tall man with dark gray shoulder-length hair approached them. And based on his body build and aura, he’s one of the senior enforcers.

“Starting today, I am going to be your trainer and it is my job to get you pups to condition your body and teach you the beginner steps of being a warrior.” The enforcer said.

Zander looks at him, and he felt an air of leadership and dominance on him.

“And by the way, my name is Massimo.”

Zander just felt like he was punched in the gut when he heard the name of their assigned enforcer. His cousins also couldn’t believe the enforcer’s name. Seb leaned towards Zander and asked.

“He’s your dad’s Lycan?”

Zander ignored Seb’s question and just kept his eyes on Massimo. When the enforcer looked back at him, and then looked at Seb, he lowly growled.

“I expect your full attention, meaning no chatting while training,” Massimo growled making the boys stiffen.

“I need all of you to take this training seriously. You will be warriors that will serve under the Alpha King; you‘ll be protecting the pack and the throne.”Massimo told them.

Their training started that day and every day it just gets more difficult. It was difficult for them because they are suppressing their real strength, and their lycans doesn’t like how weak they have to portray themselves.

Every day was a challenge for them, not just for training but because they just made an enemy with the group of jocks that thinks highly of themselves. It’s like high school wherein they were the target of the bullies.

One day, the boys are on their way to have breakfast when the bullies blocked their way. An exchange of banter happened before they began to exchange punches.

When the authorities came, the boys acted weakly and got beaten up which led the bullies to get reprimanded and got off the day’s training. Massimo then took them to the tent to have breakfast. He was giving them an earful regarding how they suck at training and some other things.

They were eating when they suddenly received mindlink from their sisters. And after hearing the urgency in their voices and the fact that they said that Zari was shifting, without any word, Zander took off, followed by the boys.

And when Zander and the others came to the part of the forest where the girls are, they found out that Zari had just taken off. So the boys shifted into their Lycan form and let the girls hop into their backs as they track Zari.

When they finally found Zari, she was in her Lycan form and she was just lying on the ground. Zander approached his sister and nudged her with his snout.

‘Are you alright?’Zander asked his sister through their mind link.

‘Yes.’ Zari answered, and then her ears twitched and she stood up and began growling.

They were surprised to see Alessa and Massimo there. And now that they have seen them and their lycan forms, they had no choice but to explain the truth to them. They had to tell them who they are, where they are really from, and the fact that Alessa and Massimo are their parents’ lycans.

Of course, it took more than just telling them things to convince both lycans about it. But Alessa felt that maternal connection that she cannot even explain. In the end, they promised to help Zander and the others on their mission.
