Alaric's POV I was nervous all day while waiting for Barrett to return, but the worst part was that I couldn't let anyone see my frustration. When lunch time came, I hoped to find him at the table so I could talk to him in my study after we ate, but all my hopes faded when I saw only Andreas sitting at the main table. Morgana, however, looked thrilled, which only made me feel worse. I had just sat down when I sensed Morgana wanted to tell me something. "Alaric, I would like to talk to you after lunch.
