The Betas' visit initially scared me, but when I learned the reason for their visit, my worry shifted to my family. I felt compelled to comply if it meant saving them.
It was hard to believe that the Alpha had become mad because of me and was planning to vent his anger on the pack. I found it impossible to think that I was important to him, but when I discovered who that attractive Alpha she-wolf was, I felt foolish.
