“Think about all your Gods and family for the last time, boy. After that I will not have any mercy on you”, Ansel laughed.
“I love you, Kai”, I mindlinked for the last time and closed every link that I could to not let my mate hurt from the physical pain.
I could feel my tears brimming up on not able to see my mate and our upcoming whelp ever. I wanted to be the best mate and father.
Guess that won’t happen ever.
The wind around me changed direction and I felt Ansel’s hand swing above his head to bring down his weapon on me.
I tightly shut my tear filled eyes and clenched my teeth awaiting the last strike of death fall on me.
After many seconds passed, everything went quiet and nothing came crashing down on me.
That’s strange.
