Not in one sweep. Not with a single revelation that ties everything up neatly. It happens the way real understanding usually does, incrementally, through accumulation. Small confirmations stacking until the picture sharpens enough that denial isn’t possible anymore.

That’s the first thing that locks in. Once I stop looking at the actions through the lens of power and start looking at them through the lens of grievance, the logic straightens out. The choices make sense in a way they never quite did before. The persistence. The patience. The refusal to escalate recklessly even when opportunities presented themselves.
