Roman walked out of the treatment room briskly, as if the devil himself was on his tail. The way Rose had been nonchalant and almost unconcerned by the threats she received from Naomi, of which he could already guess the nature, infuriated him in a way.
That being said, he didn’t know what upset him more, the fact that Rose felt threatened in his own place, or the fact that she didn’t feel the need to tell him. On his way to his office, he began to think of the ways he could use to get Naomi to understand that she was no one of importance to him, merely an escort he had taken a fancy to.
Before long, he called Stefan, “Bring Naomi to me.”
“Yes, boss,” his right-hand man agreed without delay, even though he could almost hear him wondering what could possibly be wrong.
