The minibuses sped through the darkness, the she wolves huddling together with their sleeping children nervously as they strained to make out their surroundings. ‘We are nearly there ladies’ came Luke’s voice a while later, from the front of his vehicle as he started to slow down, two warriors stepping forward in the growing light, approaching the driver’s door.
Winding the window down, Luke greeted the pair, informing them that members in wolf form were following them. The two warriors waved him through warmly, giving curious glances up at the windows where pairs of scared eyes stared back at them.
Driving forward carefully, Luke followed the narrow road toward the distant building that grew in front of them, the she wolves gasping as the huge mansion expanded before their eyes. Check
