‘So what happens now?’ Lily demanded as she paced back and forth in front of Eric in the throne room.
After her defeat of his warriors, Eric had hurried away, shouting for the guards to return the pair to their room and had been absent for the rest of the day, finally calling them for a meeting the next afternoon after the visitors had been made to eat their dinner and breakfast confined to their room.
Eric drummed his fingers on the arm of his chair as he watched the Alpha storm backwards and forwards in front of him, fists clenched by her sides.
‘We move on to the next test’ he finally replied with a sigh.
Spinning around to him, Lily glared angrily, ‘what test? And no more bull s**t about I'll find out when I need too, you will tell me right now what I've gotten myself in to.’
