Hours later, the warriors were ready to leave, everyone splitting up between the buses and the various cars that were owned by the pack and setting off with Eric in the lead in one of the jeep’s, Rose, Lily, Blaze and Luke travelling with him.
Making their way down the endless roads, the passengers tried to get some sleep as Eric drove steadily toward their destination. Many hours passed and Rose began to worry, fidgeting in her seat, she sighed heavily as her mate gave her a quick glance and smile before returning his attention to the road.
‘What troubles you mate?’ he asked affectionately.
‘What if we are too late?’ Rose asked in a low tone, ‘what if they run out of air before we get there and fight our way through . . ‘
