Aisling stiffened between my hands. She slowly turned around to see Aline. I was pissed beyond understanding, because at that precise moment my mother walked outside of Aqua's guard. I have never been on the receiving end of my mother's disapproval, and let me tell you… It was not something I would like to experience frequently. I have no idea how Iris handled it.
“Aline, what the f**k are you doing here? This is a family matter…” I said in a steady voice, trying to control my emotions, the anger and craving to strangle her being the main ones.
“Well, I believed I was part of your family, but I guess I was mistaken… First, you disappeared from me, and then I find you holding another woman… What is going on, Dominic? Where did all those promises go?” She said almost sobbi
