She frowned to herself. Maybe she shouldn’t choose any of them? That would keep them all safe if he ever did come looking for her.
He may not come for her, her ex-boyfriend. She didn’t want to take the chance that he might one day decide to come for her. It would be easier if she were alone, then no one would get hurt. It would make it easier to run again if she needed to. If she were with Eli, Drake, Owen, or Sam, she couldn’t ask them to run with her. They all had lives here.
