Chapter Sixty-Five Eli pulled the bike up to a small, red brick building. He had loved feeling Abby’s arms wrapped around him as he navigated them away from the packhouse and into the city. How she had squeezed her arms around him, her fingers digging into the cotton of his shirt as he flew down the streets. It had been everything he had hoped it would be and as he parked the motorcycle and killed the engine; he felt a pang of sadness as she untangled her arms from around him and climbed off the back of his bike. Abby stood on shaking legs as Eli smiled at her.
