"I am staying away to protect you" I tell her.
Silence is thick in between us right now. No one says a word. I look at Arni who is just staring at me. As if we both are battling the thousands of thoughts running through our minds.
"Waiter!" Kyra calls.
This woman alone is enough to ruin so many good things. Not just today, but she does it all the time.
"Can I get Junnu (A south Indian dessert) please?" She asks.
The waiter nods and looks at Arni and I. We shake our heads. We are too busy to be eating right now.
"So... To protect me, you have to stay away from me?" She asks.
