Samantha’s words soothed Randy’s aching heart for a moment. Even though they would not be conversing on a day to day basis, the fact that she recognized and empathized with Randy’s silent battles meant a lot for him.
They almost bumped into each other while Randy headed to the kitchen. They just stared at each other, exchanging mental conversation that they understood well. Samantha and Randy aren’t complacent with their surroundings. They chose not to speak to each other when there were people around.
While Randy was washing the potatoes as he'd making fries, Samantha emerged from behind him. “Randy,” she whispered. Randy heard her but acted like he didn’t like what they had discussed. Randy opened the drawer below and acted as if he was searching for something. “H
