I push the curtains back of the window and see the maid looking at my wife. The maid tried her best to not tremble under my gaze as she softly asked Ruby if she needed her assistance, Ruby shook her head and looked down.

I could tell how sleepy she was. Perhaps she was too nervous to sleep. I did not understand why she would be so nervous and scared around me. Irrespective of her nature as a human, she would feel the mate bond. I wondered if she was just far too worried about her life with me.

I see Andrew get off his horse and walk towards our carriage. I grabbed Ruby's hand to feel if she was cold. As I suspected, her hands were cold as ice. I rubbed my thumb over her hand to warm it up as Andrew bowed. She moved her head into my chest, shy as she was making me clench my jaw in dire need of grabbing her and just never letting go.

Just the thought of a man seeing my mate gave me anxiety, anger, and the need to pull their eyes off. Even Andrew.

"Any Casualties?"

He nodded with a worried look, " We found multiple bodies. In human form, the bites suggest a fight, we suspect it was a rouge Wolf. He must've tried to get them to submit."

I raised my head staring at Andrew and thinking.

"Have someone look into this when we get back."

Andrew nodded as I dropped the curtain having no desire to show my comfortable mate to any soldier out there.

My heart constantly itching to claim her right here and fu** her was overwhelming. But she wasn't just anyone, she was my queen, Part of my love for her was respecting her. But the lord did not give me enough strength to hold myself back like so. I felt angry every time I looked at her knowing she wasn't yet claimed by me and knowing very well how badly my wolf wanted her in my arms tight.

The silence between us wasn't bad, she was in my arms. Letting me touch her. That was enough..for now. But I wouldn't be surprised if I just claimed her right now as she had her head over my chest listing to my heart. I felt vulnerable letting her listen to my heart.

I felt as if she could control me right here.

I see her breath heavy as I held her hand tight and suddenly she looked up catching me off guard I stare at pure little eyes as she stared into mine. Her chest was pressed over mine and I wanted to rip this amour off me to just feel a little of her skin over mine.

I chuckle in my head a little at the daring move she made. I knew the effect I had on humans, my own kind couldn't look me in my eyes as I was sending them their dead warning right there. I had that control over them but she tried. And I was proud she did.

I was so immersed in her eyes I didn't see her finger coming near me. I felt my heart stop as she kept her finger over my lower lip lightly, A feather touch. Exactly as I expected from her. So soft, fragile, and like touch like a feather.

Even her fingertips carried a soft scent.

I was lost in her eyes while my hands curl around her waist slowly holding her toward and trapping her little body between my chest and my arms.

And when she brushed her finger across my lower lip I lost her. Grabbing her neck from being and kissing her beautiful soft sweet lips. I couldn't hold back as I kissed her dangerously rough. She gasped but she could only make half of it. She whimpered lightly putting her fist right under my collar and lightly pushing back but I just couldn't stop.

She couldn't keep up as I kissed her upper lip and then her plump lower lip. Licking her lips as I kissed her over and over again while one hand had her held against me and the other moved her cup her cheek tightly while her little arms held a fist over my chest.

In the end, she whimpered as slowly kissed me back. I pushed myself back with much contemplation to let her breathe and not scare her. She was breathing heavily, with her fists still over my chest and her head dropped down and I see her chest heaving slowly. She blinked unable to move as I held her to me while I stare at her.

I kissed her cheek once before tucking her hair behind her ear. I felt something burst in my heart as I see her. She was red as a tomato. Her cheeks, nose, lips, and chest it was all a shade of red and she was warm as she could be.

Her lips were shining because of me. I felt the need to curse every man who had seen my mate's beautiful lips and her cleavage. I sigh leaning back and pulling her fall on me. She did not resist falling on my chest and now breathing slowly.

"I will not hold myself back anymore Ruby. I am not like those who will wait, I am a cruel man with cruel desires and you are one of them." I whispered as she looked up at me.

Her hands were still on my chest and her eyes now twinkling, I could see her fear but I could see how she willingly submitted to me.

She looked back down but I clenched my jaw in anger grabbing her chin and pulling her head up to look at me.

"You are under no obligation to submit to me as my Queen but I will not tolerate disobeying me as your husband. Do you understand me?"

She stared at me for a moment before nodding slowly and I felt like I had scared her.

"Will you obey me ?" I asked and she gulped trembling.

To my disappointment..I scared her.

She nodded but I cupped her cheeks and kissed her lips before pulling away.

"You do not have to. But you are mine. " I said before kissing her deeply again.

She moaned into the kiss giving me pure bliss as she tried her best to keep up with me. I felt my heart sore as she fist my coat in her hand and raised her head to kiss me better. I let go as I see the tail tale signs of my c**k harden and sigh. Any more and I will have her bend over here in this carriage right now.

I stare at her little face as she lay on my chest and soon closed her eyes with her tight hold on my forearm. I looked away unable to stop my boner any longer.

We reached the borders of my kingdom soon enough after crossing the mountains but Had to halt for refreshments.

Ruby rubbed her eyes as she woke up making me stare her at all over again. She blushed the minute she saw herself hugging me in her sleep and let go. I lift her up and set her on the seat before adjusting my attired and looking at her.

She looked so arousing. Her bust was purely visible as she had taken her cost off a while ago. The dress did a go job of hugging her curves and breasts. I take my coat off and hand it to her.

"Wear this," I said opening the carriage and getting out.

The cold wind passed by and I realized how hot the carriage was. My soldiers bowed to me before taking their horses to be fed.

I look at Andrew as he walked towards me and looked at the carriage realizing his Queen wasn;t out.

"Fetch the maid-"

"Yes I did Sir. She will be here soon. Do I need to call any physician if Her Highness needs it?"

I looked back at the carriage and think before walking to it again and opening the door to see my mate adjusting her gown.

There was nothing I could do but watch her shriek silently and stop herself as I stood there with a sudden hard on. I thanked my attire which made it impossible for people to see it.

"Just me," I whispered as I cupped her cheek and brushed my thumb over her cheek before letting go.

I smirk in my head as I see her relax.

"Do I need to call a physician? Do you feel good?"

"Y-Yes your Majesty, I am fine."

Probably the first few words she spoke to me for the past four hours. I nodded waiting as she adjusted her dress and I give her my hand to get down.

She shivered to get down the carriage and looking around her her maid came to her aid. I stare at the maid she grabs her hand and guides her inside the tent put up for her.

"Any orders?" Andrew must have noticed my eyes over that maid.

I nodded, "Keep an eye on her."

Andrew nodded.

"I want a woman with good combat skills as one of the ladies in waiting," I order.

"I will have that arranged."

I watch Ruby walk out the tend with gloves over hand and talking with that maid. Her hair flowed in the chilly wind and her cheeks were flushed red.

"Andrew-"

"Yes, your majesty?" He asked as I see my mate walk towards us.

"No one is allowed to request the presence of the Queen unless My or your approval is given, it applies to the royal family as well."

"Of course." He answered.
