“Thank you for taking me into town, Emily,” Zoey said as they entered the pack’s territory.
“It’s not a problem,” Emily replied with a soft smile. “I quite enjoyed it,” she added. Zoey nodded as she relaxed against the car seat. She still couldn’t believe that she hadn’t packed her monthly supplies. It had been too embarrassing to ask Justin to take her, so she had asked Emily instead.
