Louve was lying down in her room sobbing. She covered her mouth so as not to be heard by passersby; Her heart shattered into pieces.

An hour ago, she had walked in on her boyfriend with another woman. Not only was he not remorseful, but he humiliated her.

“Louve common, you are such a fool. Do you think I love you? It was Tania I love, and she has been my girlfriend for the last two years. I just want to use your family money since it is obvious that you are rich. I can't even imagine myself getting in between your legs. Kane frowned. He lost all his patience and no longer wanted to talk to Louve. He stood up from Tania’s body to drive her out of the room.

“Oh common Louve, are you deaf or enjoying what you are seeing?" Tania said sarcastically, "You are of no use to me so, scram.” Louve knelt down on the ground, lowered her head and cried bitterly. She was the campus belle yet she was insulted by her lover.

Unwilling, Louve propped herself up, bit her lower lip and knocked on the door. She was unwilling. She couldn’t just let Kane off like this..

“b***h, what are you doing here?! Before Louve could knock on the door, she was grabbed by a guy, Kane's friend, Albert. “Stop being shameless and go back to your dorm, don’t ruin my friends' morning!” He was extremely strong and pulled Louve to the side.

“Let me go! I’m going to get everything I’ve given Kane back.”

“Kane owes you nothing, everything you have done for him so far is to thank him for being your boyfriend. "You might be the campus belle, but without Kane you are nothing”. Albert grabbed Louve’s arm tightly and pushed her out of the dorm.

“Clang” the door to the dorm was slammed heavily. The passersby stared at her and some people took out their cell phones to record her humiliation; she soon became a viral topic on the campus.

With tears in her eyes, she rushed back to her dorm.

Louve pov

Not receiving any wishes from my boyfriend, I made my way to the park; I sent Kane a text letting him know I had arrived at our meeting place. I sat at our favorite spot as I waited for him, wearing the dress he bought for me on my previous birthday; I did my best to look as pretty as possible. I wanted to be the most beautiful girl today. I wanted him to know how much I cherished the gift he gave me.

I waited for an hour and there was still no sign of Kane.

“Where could he be?” I asked myself as my worries set in. He had never stayed an hour before arriving at our meeting place.

I sent him another text asking him if he was okay. Another hour passed and there was still no sign of him. An uneasy feeling set in my heart.

I was angry and worried at the same time. Out of all our meetings, he chose to stand me up on my special day.

I decided not to send him another text. I called his line severely but the call all ended in voice mail.

Ring! Ring!! Ring!!!

“Hi, its Kane. . Can't talk right now, please leave a message”

beep! beep!! beep!!!

I was so pissed.

“Damn it”, I cursed and dialed his number again.

Ring! Ring!! Ring!!!

“Hello, it's Kane. I’m busy at the moment. Leave a message. I will get back to you.”

“Common babe, pick up your phone” I muttered to myself.

Some minutes passed and there was no sign of Kane, so I decided to visit him at his dorm. The walk to his dorm only took fifteen minutes. When I got to his door, I saw that the door was left ajar. I was going to surprise him, but instead of surprising him, he surprised me. Instead, he was on another woman, kissing and having s*x with her. I was shocked and all I could do was stand there to be humiliated.

Kane and I met during my first year as a student at the university and instantly became best friends. Our friendship began when I walked in on some werewolves mating in the bathroom. Innocently, I rushed out and nearly ran Kane over. The impact of my body on Kane’s body made everything in his hand fly all over the place.

“I’m so sorry, I was looking down at all the activity I had to do today and wasn’t paying attention” he said, and I was drowned to him at that instant.

“Why did you rush out of the bathroom?” he asked, and I innocently told him everything I saw there.

“Yeah, I’m a first-year student and you?” I asked, blushing.

“Oh, year two. It’s the norm around school when next you come across such things. Don't fret. Tell me your schedule so that I can take you around school.”

I told him my schedule for the day, and we added each other to our social media accounts. I was excited to have him as my friend and from that day we became friends. We walked each other to class and the dorm, and he helped me to focus on getting good grades. Months later, I got to know about Kane's financial issues and I volunteered to help him pay his fees and that was when we started dating. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined Kane humiliating me the way he does today. I rushed to my hostel room. I am so pained that I let my tears flow down my face freely. How could I be so stupid to give my heart out freely to him? I cried my heart out that I didn’t know when I had drifted off to sleep.
