“Run for the lodge,” Joshua muttered to the woman and the kids, who stood petrified as the rogue walked towards them.
“I… I…,” the woman stuttered, terror spread over her face.
“Now!” Joshua ordered sternly, and his voice made the woman come back to her senses, and she nodded and told the children to run.
“What’s the plan?” Cassie whispered to Joshua as everyone else ran away.
“I’ll deal with him,” Joshua growled, “Stay here and make sure he won’t get past you if he tries to evade me.”
“I’ll try,” Cassie breathed and nodded.
“Don’t worry, I’ll do my best to make sure that won’t happen,” Joshua said reassuringly.
The rogue had stopped twenty meters away from them and was eyeing Joshua carefully, no doubt sensing his alpha status, and Joshua used the time to take off his pants slowly.
