Silva took a rope off its hook and said “This looks about right try pulling this one” Matt wasn’t convinced but then what did he know. Taking the rope he gave it a gentle tug, nothing happened so he pulled down harder and still nothing happened. She moved in behind him and said “Let me help” and put one hand on the rope and the other around his waist.
“Ready when you are Matt”
They both pulled down and for a moment the boat moved so they tried again and as the boat lifted up Silva let go and left Matt to it, suddenly the boat swung away from its brackets and was now hanging unsecured; Matt was using all his strength to hold it and stop it from crashing down.
He could easily let it drop but it was Grandfather Hines old boat and he had to save it at all costs.
