POV: Darius It was barely six in the morning when my eyes opened. The soft rays of sunlight entered the room through the curtains, making the room look golden. Adriana was still asleep beside me, her hair scattered on the pillow, her breathing soft and even. She looked so peaceful that I almost didn’t want to move. But I couldn’t just lie there.
