CRYSTAL. The awkwardness as we drove to the hospital was enough to choke on. Jaden kept his eyes on me throughout the drive as we both sat in the backseat of his car. He didn't even as much as blink. He just watched me like I was something he couldn’t stop studying. His stare burned into my cheek, my neck, the side of my face. Every few seconds, I felt my skin heat under it.
