I was nervous, and I don’t know why I know all of Addie’s friends that I am meeting tonight, and Lucy had been staying with us for the last couple of days until her soon to be ex-husband got all his things out of the house. It would be a little strange spending time with them since the only way I had did that was when I was teaching them. I am sure for them it will all be a little strange too.
“You doing OK, my love?” Addie asked as we got ready.
“I am nervous. It is all going to be a little strange to start with,” I chuckled.
“I know, but I am sure you will all get used to it,” She giggled, “And it is only for a couple of hours, and then a couple of your friends will be there too,” She added.
