Addison’s P.O.V
It took my dad over a week to call me back. A week! I had been miserable the entire time. But he finally called, and now tonight, Carson and I meet my parents for dinner. I was dreading it because I don’t know how my dad is going to react to Carson. I am hoping he has just arranged this so he can get on at Carson. If he has, we will be leaving. Carson doesn’t deserve that. I understand why my dad was angry, but you can’t change all of that in the past. I hope he can see just how in love we are.
“How can you be so relaxed?” I asked Carson as we got ready.
“Because freaking out isn’t going to help any,” He said.
