Alice could barely believe the training Blake was making Harry endure. Her boyfriend had to punch trees all day long. His sire said it enabled him to control his strength. It was the way he had always trained his progeny and his protégée too.
Alice, on the other hand, was to spar softly with Ace, so that Blake would know her strengths and her weaknesses.
She surprised them all by holding her ground for some time against the young vampire, and simply told them when she got back up from the soil with Ace’s help, “I may have lost my touch but I was a Judo black belt back before the attempted kidnapping.”
