“Nick and Alex will naturally go with you on your quest tomorrow,” Blake announced when they were finished with dinner on Sunday.
“What about me?” Alice asked, genuinely curious.
“You can’t. You’re human, just in case you forgot,” Blake told her almost dismissively.

“What?” He exclaimed. “It’s true. We don’t want Harry to be burdened with the task of looking for his mate while protecting the presumed love of his life.”
