"Good Morning," Evelina who was the first to notice us as we walked into the room said with a beaming smile. There were a few maids on standby next to the table, and they did a small bow to us as we walked through. That was the one thing I was never going to get used to about this place. In fact, I only managed to hold back from cringing because I had other things weighing on my mind. Like surviving breakfast without squirting all over my seat. Maybe Adrian was not so wrong for giving me that Elixir.
Coming down the stairs was one hell of a journey and at this point, I was sure if I dared to sit, I would leave a damp spot on the poor seat. Adrian held my hand for every step I took, but that did not stop the smugness that colored his expression.
