"YOU shouldn't be here..." Eli said in her raspy voice. My forehead creased because of that, especially when she gripped to my wrist tightens.
"You shouldn't be here..." she said again. I noticed how her hands tremble. My brow shot up.
"What do you mean?" I asked as I look into her eyes. I could the fear for something in her brown orbs.
She wasn't able to answer my question immediately. She closed her eyes as she inhaled a deep breath. Then her trembling hand reached for me. I blinked as I looked at it, then my eyes went back to her...
"I think you should get back to the bed---"
I wasn't able to finish what I was to say when she shook her head with conviction.
