Irina’s POV
I’m beat. I truly need some rest, but I keep tossing and turning in this bed for some reason.
I know Aiden is not in his room. I can feel the distance and wonder why he hasn’t returned.
“Well, considering his feelings were outed before everyone, and you didn’t make a single comment…”
I grabbed the pillow and pressed it against my face. “I didn’t know what I was supposed to say.”
“Uh… even a thank you would have been better than staying quiet,” She mumbled under her breath.
“I froze! There were so many people there and Aiden…”
A soft knock startled me. I wasn’t expecting anyone; we were all supposed to get some rest for tomorrow’s great event.
