Aiden’s POV The door clicked shut behind me, the sound final. I had lost her. I stood in the silent, dim hallway, my forehead pressed against the cool wood. I was still trying to find a way to get Irina back, but the look in her eyes told me it was too late. I returned to my room, the party was still happening, but I couldn’t care less.
