A cold chill ran down my body at his words. This man was coming after me and I had no idea why. I don’t know how long it passed until Billy woke up again, dragging himself towards his mom.
“Mom? Mom wake up”, Billy said, but nothing.
“Mom, please wake up”, Billy pleaded before bringing his fingers to her neck, checking her pulse.
