I looked at Kaleb and Zephyra sleeping. I tried to sleep like everyone else, but I couldn't. What has happened in those last twelve hours kept running through my mind. I have never felt such fear before. The thought of losing a child... I wouldn't wish what I felt on anyone. I could also imagine how Ethan and Billy felt. Billy is Kaleb's biological father and I have a feeling he felt as I did, but Kaleb and Ethan have a special bond. I run my fingers through my hair for the millionth time.
