PROLOGUE

HUNTER My tears welled up as I watched her walk from the church door to the altar where I was waiting. The long white wedding dress she's wearing perfectly fits her, and every detail hugs her body gracefully. Her beauty can't be hidden behind the thin veil covering her face. I still can't believe I'm marrying the woman I love the most. "I can't wait to call you my wife," I greeted her as she approached the altar. "So do I, Mr. Lorenzana. I can't wait to be called Mrs. Lorenzana," she giggled. I listened intently during the mass, overwhelmed with happiness. Tears flowed freely when she mentioned her wedding vow. After a few minutes, the priest handed me the microphone to deliver my prepared wedding vow. I looked into the eyes of the woman in front of me before speaking. "Hon, I can still remember the moment I laid my eyes on you. It wasn't a magical moment. It was a disaster, to be exact, but that's what I'm calling a beautiful disaster. That moment, it didn't cross my mind that the fierce and loud woman who called me a stalker and put me in jail would be the woman I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I can't imagine my life without you. I want you to wear this ring as a sign of my love and loyalty. Our marriage will never be perfect, but when the hard times come, I want you to look at this ring and remember how much I love you." Though tears filled my eyes, I could see happiness in her eyes as I placed the ring on her finger. I couldn't ask for anything else but to give her all the happiness she deserves. It felt like I was in a dream during those moments. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with this gorgeous woman in front of me. The priest's voice brought me back to reality when he spoke, and I returned to my senses. "I now pronounce you Husband and Wife!" the priest announced. The entire church erupted in cheers and applause.
