I wasn’t sure why I was terrified.
It reminded me of the time that I first visit the place. My nerves were just as anxious as they were right now. Even just by idly sitting by, I could feel how my heart feels like jumping outside my chest. Just like before, his aunts and most of his cousins would be there.
Kye informed me that his family often try to spend the weekend together, as it was their only way to bond with each other. Their family did not start to where they currently were. None of them used to own cars or expensive houses. All used to be struggling financially, with piles of debt following them like a second skin.
